I would love the option to have a unit price which INCLUDES the taxes applicable (eg/GST)
So instead of having:
- a unit price of $90 (exl GST) resulting in a $99 (inc GST)
I would prefer to have it listed as - a unit price of $99 including GST
This would make the accounting for GST on odd priced items much easier. I have a rnage of products which has existing GST inclusive pricing that I wnat to migrate into SimpleInvoices but fear having to do the maths.
$47, $159, $1037 - each including GST.
Maybe it could happen, would love to here any feedback about this coming in a future version of SimpleInvoices.
one option that could work using the current Simple Invoices is - 1 - create the product and input the price inc GST - 2 - set the default tax for that product as none - 3 - when you create the invoice select the click and make sure no tax is selected - 4 - mod the invoice template so that it puts in a new row called GST which auto does the reverse GST calc
this would mean that the tax section of the invoice amount is not stored in Simple Invoices - but a custom report or something could be generated to calc and report it
