I'm very happy to announce the availability of Simple Invoices 2010.2 Beta 5 release!

* fixed IE manage payments problem
* adjusted and fixed issue with login page
* fixed custom_field1 problem
* fixed export to Word in quick view problem
* fixed French translation so that the manage grids now work
* fixed preferences status save problem
* fixed issue with blank Simple Invoices - now warns if cache folder not writeable
* change to config - just use config/custom.config.ini if you want a version of config.ini that is not in svn
* fixed issue with rounding number with lots of decimal places in invoice creation/editing
* fixed email as PDF invoice name/id

* Automatic installer might not work 100% - best bet is to manually import the Simple_Invoices_Full.sql file for new dbs

Hey Justin,

Great work! Are all the new features already functional? There are some things in the invoice preferences section that don't seem to work but if it is simply because all the internals haven't been hooked up yet there is not much point commenting on that.
On another note I would like to make a suggestion for a little change. Could you make the Invoice detail line (in module=preferences&view=add) an editor text area like in the 'Notes' section for a new invoice. Some people like to use this to insert their paragraph of terms and conditions here and one line simply doesn't cut it. I have implemented this in my version of Simple Invoices already but of course that would be gone after an upgrade.
Also, on the module=preferences&view=details&id=x&action=view page, the Invoice detail line does not appear at all.

Another thing I noticed: Although the 'Locale' selection is now an option when adding a new invoice preference (great!), it doesn't show up in the view or edit modes of already added invoice preferences.

- this is still a work in progress - but the plan is to make language and locale formatting selectable in the invoice preference
