If this update is the same as a few days ago then there's an issue using the database prefix using index table. I solved it in the download. See other post for details.

I am just trying to install SimpleInvoice over WAMP5 but I am getting the following message when calling SI, so I need help ...thanks in advance!

Is this a fresh installation or an upgrade? I installed it fresh w.o. significant problems. But when upgrading issues may rise due to duplicate key issues. Some threads ahaed you will find some info regarding this issue.

Hiya!

I'm back from Python/Django land...to PHP, MySQl, CMS Made Simple & Simple Invoices...It looks that the word 'simple' bears some significance. :-)

Well, before installing on the production server, wanted to check on my localhost, but I get the famous: 'Processing, please wait ...' message.

Tried following http://simpleinvoices.org/wiki/no_data_showing_the_the_grid_pages_ie._manage_invoices_products_etc but to no avail.

Here are some info about my system:

Ahh, that was the easy (aka iconv) one.

I'm still experiencing 'Processing, please wait ...' on two different systems.

Looking at Firebug and copying 'location with parameters' we have the following URL:

http://localhost/index.php?module=payments&view=xml&id=&c_id=&page=1&qtype=biller_id&query=&rp=25&sortname=id&sortorder=desc

which produces the following error:

I'm quite new with PHP, although considering that I plan to keepu using SimpleInvoices & CMS Made Simple, I'll have to learn more.

Moreover, I plan to work on Croatian translations for both apps. ;)

Playing a bit with phpmyadmin and manually cleaning some stuff helped.

It looked that, at least on the 'production server', the problem was due to Croatian characters I entered into invoice's Note.

Now I'll try the same on my localhost.

Edit: Installed phpmyadmin on my localhost and cleared Croatian characters (šŠ đĐ čČ ćĆ žŽ) from the invoices' Note.

Now, everything is OK, but I wonder how usable can SI be for us if it fails with our native characters?

Any workaround?
