PDF encryption

    Hi all,

    In many countries invoices sent by email have to be encrypted due to legal considerations, so the pdf generation process will have to contain encryption for the invoices to be legally binding.

    How do you encrypt the pdf? Or better, how does the recepient encrypt the pdf? What's the normal procedure?

    The recipient does not need to decrypt the file. It is meant to disallow unauthorized editing of the file. According to the html2ps forum, this feature is not available yet in their package : http://forum.tufat.com/showthread.php?t=36328 , but is planned for. It might be an idea just to wait for that.

    You can use a program to help you encrypt PDF for you. I am using PDF postman to encrypt files and email attachments. Here is the link for more information
