Are you using an Apache web server?
It looks as though you might have a problem with your .htaccess.
Try re-uploading the Simple Invoices files and let me know if you are still having issues.

The error I am getting is

It looks like this issue is only effecting debian users. See http://stackoverflow.com/a/2932676

Unfortunately I'm not a Zend expert so I'm afraid I can't help you out much more :(

You could give it a go and see if it fixes the problem.
We've done a bit of work on Zend since the 2011.1 release so this could well be fixed in the next release of SI.

We haven't set a date, but development has slowed recently as everyone is very busy. Hopefully we should have a release out in the next few months.
