    Hi all,
as i posted some days ago I'm working on a new redevlopment of this great project.
I'm taking inspiration on another service called BambooInvoices (i know i know.... but it's good to know the competitors, eheh) and i'm converting all the tables into layers and css styles.

Please remember i'm a designer, and not a developer. lol

here some screenshots of what i'm doing
http://www.lesath.it/up/invoiceshots/wip1.jpg -> dashboard redesigned and rebuilt.

http://www.lesath.it/up/invoiceshots/wip2.jpg -> Invoices is gonna be converted into Documents (that's because in italy Invoice ID is different from other documents and it gets resetted every year). Also, clicking on NEW DOCS a dropdown panel will let select the doc type (and possibly the customer) straight away.

http://www.lesath.it/up/invoiceshots/wip3.jpg -> the doc creation with a new layout i'm working at.

Any suggestions and comments are much appreciated.

Also.... i'm getting an error when i go in Extension preferences
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Acl_Exception' with message 'Resource 'extensions' not found' in C:\Users\Bupsss\lesath_invoices\library\Zend\Acl.php:297 .... etc etc...

    anybody knows what's that?
    Thanks

    hey bups

great work - so your replacing all the tables in the forms with css - sounds good

question: what icons are you using ? are they available under a free license?

best option is to post your code online so we can review and discuss etc..

    re zend_acl error
    - grab the Simple Invoice 2009.1 update 1 release - refer the blog - should fix this

    cheers

    Hey, thanks
The icons are a mix from eikon2 and nuoveXT icon sets available on gnome-look.org

i updated the files, but somehow doesnt work properly, but i realized i dont really need those extensions.
although today i got an error i have no idea where it comes from:
Fatal error: Call to a member function node_type() on a non-object in C:\Users\Bupsss\lesath_invoices\library\pdf\box.php on line 91

this happens when i try to export to pdf.
    any idea?

also, is it possible to print the invoice without the preview? (bamboo-invoice style)

    Thanks

    hey bups

    re icons
    - thanks for that info

    re node_type()
    - no idea - sorry :(

    re print
    - with some custom javascript you could make this work - i haven't look into it before as i preview the print preview then manual print from browser

    cheers
