Before downloading Simple Invoices there are a few things you first need to be aware of

Simple Invoices is a web based application that you install on your server or pc. Read the sections below for more info on this.

Basics
- Simple Invoices is a web based application
- this means that any PC or device that has a web browser can use Simple Invoices
- this also means that for you to access Simple Invoices it first needs to be installed on a server or PC that has
- PHP
- A web server available (normally Apache)
- and the MySQL database server

- Put simply
- Simple Invoices needs to live on a server or PC with the required server software installed
- you can then access Simple Invoices by using a web browser
- The benefit of Simple Invoices being a web based application is that it can work on any system that has a web browser - be that Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, etc..
- but the downfall is that it can be a pain in the ass to setup
- but i don't have a server!! - refer below

I have downloaded the product and have installed it. Under the “Options” and “Database Manager” there are no buttons for update or for anything for that matter and when I try to input anything, “Customer” “Biller” etc. here is the failure code that I get. “INSERT into si_biller values ( NULL, 'Name',

re Database Manager - there used to be an upgrade button - but now Simple Invoices checks for you and prompts you to upgrade the database if required
re error - best option is to create a new database and make sure you use the SimpleInvoices.sql file

I am new here but completely lost during installation from here:
Create a simple_invoices database on your database server. I recommend you use phpMyAdmin to create/manage your new database.

Hi Justin,
A week ago I installed simple invoice whiteout any problems. I work with it, configured it, no problem at all. Clearly there are some thing still under development, but it dose not keep me from using it. One thing i really mis is “the date” i send an invoice to a customer in the invoice list.
In mite be a good idea to optimize the more than 40MB big library, sorry i cant help you, im not a php hero :)

THE APLLICATION COMES IN KIND OF RAR TYPE AND WHEN EXTRACTED THE SETUP IS NOT AVAILABLE, HOW DO I PROCEED?

hi.. im still checking the program, and i notice that no delete for products and invoice. is this the way it works? if i want something removed do i have to go directly to the database?

invoices can be deleted (if there are no payments recorded against them)
go to System Preferences and enabled the delete setting

i'm using simple invoices for my project invoice handling methodologies.still when i create a new invoice and export into PDF document. its doesn't displays my logo. and i cant sent any mails to my customers mail ID. when i ready sent a email to them after a error message will appear like this below.,
Message could not be sent.
Mailer Error: Language string failed to load: connect_host
Anyone Could known that issue to how to rectify that one asap. pls let me know.

Hmn… actually the same bugs that appear in the program appear on your demo.
Try to display the list of Billers…doesn't work.
Same thing in the app with many tables.
Sorry, but I think the current version is not stable
